Kobie Bosch, Judy Denby, Bethany Macdonald Tucker, Paul Macdonald, Libby Moore, Suzie Rix, and Clare Unger share an exploration of contemporary still life practice. Through diverse approaches in painting, collage, ceramics, and sculpture, the group reflects on the enduring relevance of Still Life in today’s complex world.

Emphasising materiality, composition, and the meditative act of making, the exhibition invites viewers to pause and find meaning in the everyday. By looking beyond objects, Beyond Utility reaffirms the quiet power of presence, beauty, and contemplation in art.
