The following entrance testing options are available throughout the year...
Year 5
The enrolment policy for girls entering in Year 5 has recently been changed to include an interview process.
This interview will replace the entrance exam or try day experience that previously formed part of the entry process for Year 5.
All students applying for entry to Year 5 are wait listed initially. An enrolment interview will be arranged when girls are in Year 3.
Early in 2026, we will contact all girls registered on the Year 5 2028 waiting list to prepare for and to schedule an enrolment interview.
The interview will take place with the Head of Junior School and other key school leaders.
Year 7
Entrance Examination Date Change
** Please note the earlier examination date of Saturday 12 September 2026 **
The Entrance Examination will be completed online from home, with students supervised remotely by our examination team.
Year 7 new day students gain entry via an entrance test. Girls in Year 4 and up are invited to register for the entrance test.
Registration is now open for entry to Year 7 2027, Year 7 2028 and Year 7 2029 – click here to register. Registration will close on Thursday 3 September 2026.
As part of the enrolment process, your daughter will be invited to attend a separate short interview and complete the online Entrance Examination.
The testing is age specific, therefore if your daughter is taking the test when in Year 4 she will sit a Year 4 exam paper and the same applies for Year 5 and Year 6.
The format and content of the examination generally comprise multiple choice tasks to test reasoning ability, reading/comprehension, mathematical ability and a written expression task.
Parents will be contacted by email advising the outcome from their daughter’s interview and testing process. We expect this will take place early in October.
