Abbotsleigh’s bus service
Abbotsleigh’s buses are chartered by North Sydney Bus Charters and are clearly branded with Abbotsleigh signage. There is a morning service delivering the girls to school by 8.10 am and an afternoon service departing Abbotsleigh by 3.40 pm.
Northern Beaches route – departing Avalon, to Newport, Mona Vale, Ingleside, Terrey Hills, Mona Vale Road through St Ives, right into Memorial Avenue through St Ives, Pymble, Turramurra to Wahroonga
Lower North Shore route – departing Neutral Bay, to Cammeray, Northbridge, Castlecrag, Willoughby, Middle Cove, Castle Cove, Roseville Chase, right into Eastern Arterial Road through East Lindfield, East Killara, through St Ives to Wahroonga
Northern Suburbs route – departing Longueville to Lane Cove, Hunters Hill, Gladesville, Ryde, North Ryde, Macquarie Park, West Pymble, South Turramurra to Wahroonga
North West route – departing Old Northern Road, Dural, to Castle Hill, West Pennant Hills, Thornleigh to Wahroonga

Catching the train
Both of Abbotsleigh’s campuses are conveniently located within a short walking distance from Wahroonga railway station.
Junior School girls alight at Wahroonga station and walk along a laneway adjacent to the railway line to the Junior School. Qualified supervisors are positioned at road crossings to ensure the safety of all students.
Senior School girls alight at Wahroonga station, walk along a laneway adjacent to the railway line then continue up Coonanbarra Road and cross the overpass to the school grounds.
Hills district bus
The Hillsbus service from Castle Towers to Pennant Hills Station (Route 633) becomes a school bus from Pennant Hills Station to the Junior School campus (Woonona Avenue), following to the Senior School (Pacific Highway) (Route 3181).
The Hillsbus service from the corner of Highs and Castle Hill Roads to Pennant Hills Station (Route 3158), transfers to a school bus from Pennant Hills Station to the Junior School (Woonona Avenue), continuing to the Senior School (Pacific Highway) (Route 3181).
