AOGU Anniversary Grant

Abbotsleigh Old Girls have always played a significant role in their communities, so to help celebrate the AOGU’s 110th anniversary, the Anniversary Grant program was initiated. The Grant highlights and supports the philanthropic work of Old Girls, to ‘pay it forward’ through an activity or project, designed to have a positive social impact, aligning with the school’s strong tradition of social responsibility and service. This is just one of the many ways the AOGU and its members have an ongoing contribution to their communities.

The Anniversary Grant recognises the value that Old Girls add by being contributory members to their local/or world-wide communities and seeks to assist in these endeavours. The Anniversary Grant will be awarded to an Old Girl to advance a specific community purpose and is not intended to personally benefit an Old Girl as an individual member. The AOGU will offer Anniversary Grant(s) up to an annual maximum value of $5,000. The full amount may be awarded to one candidate or if there are several worthy applicants, the amount may be split.

Applications for the 2026 AOGU Anniversary Grant are open and must be received by the Old Girls’ Office before 5.00pm on Monday 19 October 2026 with the winner(s) announced at the AOGU AGM in November.
