Gifts in wills

Leaving a gift in your will to Abbotsleigh is a very personal decision but is one that will make an enduring impact on the next generation. The generosity of Old Girls, parents and other members of our school community has enriched our educational facilities and made scholarships available to students who may not otherwise have benefited from an Abbotsleigh education.

The Abbotsleigh Foundation invests testimonial gifts prudently and ensures the utmost level of care, sensitivity and respect for your wishes.

Your solicitor can advise you on how to include Abbotsleigh in your will and the School’s Director of Development is available for consultation with your solicitor if required.

Marian Clarke Society

The Marian Clarke Society is an initiative of the Abbotsleigh Foundation and is managed by a bequests committee that acknowledges and celebrates the generosity of those who have notified us that they are leaving a gift in their will to Abbotsleigh.

Every person who notifies the School of a gift in their will is eligible to join the Marian Clarke Society and is warmly invited to attend the Society’s annual High Tea at the Grace Cossington Smith Gallery in Vindin House.

You may prefer not to notify Abbotsleigh of the details of the gift you are making, or prefer to notify Abbotsleigh but keep your notification private. Your wishes will always be respected and we encourage you to talk to us about your requirements.

For more information about the Marian Clarke Society, please contact the Alumni Relations Manager.

The President of the Marian Clarke Society is Rosemary Hoskins (Old Girl, 1963).
