Our Year 11 Software Design and Development students headed into the city on Wednesday to participate in the Adobe Creative Jam - one of an event series where local thought leaders share a behind-the-scenes peek into their processes and projects; while, teams compete in a tournament that puts their creative skills to the test using Adobe Creative Cloud.

After touring the Adobe Office high on the 27th floor, the students received a short training session using the Adobe XD software package before being thrust into an intense competition to design a mobile app. Pitted against a number of other schools, the design brief was a mobile application to connect people with volunteer opportunities (all in just a couple of hours!). All teams presented their final design at the end of the day and one of our Abbotsleigh teams finished runners up, impressing the judges with their appealing aesthetic and feature-rich design. Congratulations to all who participated on the day.
