The Old Girls' Golf Day took place at Mona Vale Golf Course on a lovely day in November 2016, to contest The President's Cup and The Salver. It is such a beautiful course with magnificent views of the ocean.
The day is a wonderful chance to catch up with friends from school, who are not necessarily from Sydney or play in the same golf club.

Old Girls took a moment to remember that the day fell on Remembrance day this year. L-R: Jackie Rees ( Selosse 1969) ; Margaret Travers (Marr 1938) ; Kim Boniface (Anderson 1985) and Lib Scahill (Stitt 1969).
The winner of The President’s Cup was Kerry Skellern (Howell, 1982). The winner of the Salver was Lynda Bayliss (Gregory, 1969) with Libby Myles (Gilder, 1981) as runner up and we were delighted to have Mrs Margaret Travers (Marr, 1938) to present the trophy.
Just for fun we allocate a winning team which may consist of a mix of Old Girls and/or mothers of girls. The winners of this event were Lynda Bayliss, Sharon Davis (Boult, 1969), Lib Scahill (Stitt, 1969) and Jane Freeman, who was the Abbotsleigh mother winner.
L-R: Kerry Skellern (Howell, 1982) , Winner of the Old Girls' Cup with Kim Bonniface (Anderson, 1985), President of AOGU.
We welcome all golfing Old Girls, mothers of past or present students and past or present Abbotsleigh staff with a Golflink handicap to join us next year on Friday 17 November 2017 at Mona Vale.
