A hugely successful GLOW

From aircraft stopping installations to brilliant projects, to fantastic exhibitions, decorations, music, performances and food (to name a few of the many things that were happening on Wednesday night) the organisation was superb and the inclement weather did not detract in any way. The 25 works on display, which included eight programs for active participation as well as creative workshops, were a huge tribute to all our girls – from the Senior School and Junior School, including the Early Learning Centre.

Special mention must go to the opening event, which was the lighting of three 1000-foot beams shooting into the sky. The creation of these light beams, which have been dubbed the 'Abbotsleigh Marker’ involved the mentorship of past parent, Professor Barry Webb AM, who has worked with girls from the school’s stage and lighting crew on site and at industry locations.

Congratulations to everyone who took part in the GLOW Festival, and thank you also to the clubs who provided support with food and drinks.
