This is the third year Abbotsleigh have supported the McGrath Foundation Pull on Your Socks campaign and we are thrilled with the $5,675 raised from the purchase of pink socks.

Our Years 3 to 6 students wore their pink socks to school all day on Friday, 2 June to show their support.

Ms Sally Ruston, Head of Abbotsleigh Junior School commented, ‘we are really keen for our girls and teachers to show such fun and visible support for such a worthy cause as the McGrath Foundation. To connect sport and physical activity to fundraising for research into Breast Cancer is so right and worthy’.

On Saturday, 3 June,  our Senior and Junior sporting teams wore their long pink McGrath socks to their competitive games at various sporting venues around Sydney.  As a school community we are committed to supporting the Pull on Your Socks campaign as we know that every pair of socks sold contributes to ensuring every family impacted by Breast Cancer has access to a free dedicated breast nurse, no matter where they live. As they say at the McGrath Foundation 'Together, we can make a difference'.
