Microsoft Software

The Abbotsleigh Online Services Charge (OSC), includes at no additional cost the ability to supply on request a range of Microsoft products to participating families for installation on a home computer.

The OSC is mandatory for all students from Year 5 to Year 12. Parents of students from Kindergarten to Year 4 can also take advantage of the Microsoft offer (and Online Services)

The offer is only valid for families who have paid the OSC and during the time that there is a daughter at the school.

The software is distributed in CD format but without manuals or the packaging. The content of the CD is the same as if purchased from a retail outlet.

Whilst families are welcome to choose the full range of applications parents need to be aware that the installation of Windows 7 Professional will depend on the specifications of the computer and that some older peripheral devices such as printers, scanners etc are not supported by Windows 7. It is recommended that before attempting to install Windows 7 that parents investigate the support for these devices. Click here for more information
