Enrolments
enrolments.jpgAbbotsleigh seeks to enrol a diverse range of day and boarding students who will benefit from the School’s academic program, pursue spiritual maturity, realise individual talents, participate in co-curricular activities, and become courageous, constructive and compassionate world citizens with a will to serve.

The School requires parents to understand and support the Christian ethos, values and environment of Abbotsleigh, the academic and pastoral care programs of the School and the behavioural expectations on their daughter. There is also an expectation parents will support the School and its future.

For more information on how to enrol your daughter, visit us or request a prospectus. Check the how to apply page for further details about the enrolment process.

Entry points
Students may enter Abbotsleigh in Transition, Kindergarten, Year 3, Year 5, Year 7 or Year 10. Vacancies in other years may be offered as they occur.

Places in Transition, Kindergarten and Year 3 are offered based on the date of application.

Students starting at Abbotsleigh in Year 5 are wait listed initially and are invited to spend a day at Abbotsleigh. This provides an opportunity for the student to see the School and interact with other students in her age group. During this day, she will be given an assessment task. Alternatively, students can complete an entrance test from when they are in Year 3 (see below).

Day girls starting in Year 7 must complete an age specific entrance test in Year 3 or upwards. Entrance tests are held annually in May (with registrations open from March) and September (with registrations open from June). A combined entrance and scholarship test is held in October each year.

Please note students can only do the entrance test once. However, girls may apply for a scholarship test when they are in Year 5 if they have been offered a place as a result of an earlier entrance test.

Entry to Year 10 is based on reports, assessment procedures and an interview.
