Abbotsleigh and Knox, in partnership with The Sony Foundation, annually co-host a four day (three night) holiday camp for children with physical and intellectual disabilities. This fun-filled camp will be held from 8-11 December 2011.
The aims of ABBOX are to:
- Provide a fun camp for children with disabilities at no cost to parents
- Provide children with opportunities they may not otherwise experience
- Offer respite care to families
- Offer our senior students an opportunity to learn through serving others
The camp is for 20 boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 15 who have intellectual and physical disabilities. Camp activities include swimming, interactive music activities and craft, an excursion to a Sydney attraction, pony rides, special guest visitors and much more.
