Vice and Virtue: our film debut
Abbotsleigh’s first co-curricular film project, Vice and Virtue is a 1920s melodrama on the big screen. The cast of 30 girls from Years 10 and 11, with boys from Barker and St Aloysius' College, have been shooting, performing in and editing the film over the past term and a half.

Under the direction of Drama Teacher Ms Kate Bettison, the students have learnt about the process of film production as well as filming in variety of locations, from the Zig Zag Railway in the Blue Mountains to The Rocks in Sydney.

After the film was edited, Mrs Goodyer and Year 9 music students have composed and created the musical score which they will perform live at each screening. The ‘red carpet’ screening will also feature some live performance.
