WelcomeWelcome to the community of Abbotsleigh and thank you for your interest in the School. As you explore our programs, our philosophy and our passion for excellence in girls’ education may I invite you to come to one of our
school tours to experience the school in action. We want to provide as much information as possible to assist you in making a considered decision about your daughter's future.
Abbotsleigh is a Transition to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls, with a reputation for excellence for 125 years. In 2010, the School opened an
Early Learning Centre to provide a long day, educational program for children aged from birth to five years.
Through an
experiential learning approach, learners develop critical thinking, problem solving, improved decision making, educated risk taking and a curiosity for learning. Leadership is developed and nurtured at all levels of the School and character traits such as inner strength, perseverance, appreciation of diversity, compassion and courage are developed through structured academic care programs. Highly professional teachers understand the needs of the whole child and foster a love of learning.
Our number one focus at Abbotsleigh is creating the richest possible learning environment for the intellectual, emotional, physical, social and spiritual development of our learners. We do this by delivering an engaging program of discovery, one that helps students make connections and build relationships in the dynamic world in which we live.
